Memory approached through art

Eyes on Darkness supported testimony related to the Khmer Rouge period through art-based methods and community engagement. The programme connected difficult personal histories with opportunities for reflection and public discussion.

Supporting the process

During my Cambodia assignment, I supported implementation and documentation, facilitated field interviews and helped promote activities with Youth for Peace and partners. My role was part of a collective programme, with public forums forming a related strand of the work.
