Home Again
The distance between people
Home Again grew from stories of migration through Lampedusa, including a couple separated on their journey and trying to reunite. That account became the starting point for an animation about separation, movement and home.
Faces becoming a journey
I developed a visual language of photo-morphing and collage, layering portraits and reporting imagery into a wider movement of faces and memories. A FilmAid music-video contest prompted the initial work, but the film grew beyond its deadline and was completed independently.
A finished visual experiment
The full film is preserved below. Its significance here lies in the completed animation and the exploration of a form that connects individual experience to a collective journey.
