Rethinking Creativity: Cultural Policy as a Driver of Development
Rethinking Creativity is a series of short advocacy films developed with UNESCO to illustrate how cultural policies can contribute to inclusive social, political and economic development.
The challenge
Cultural policy is frequently perceived as a niche sector. The objective was to make its practical relevance visible through grounded stories from Burkina Faso and more than 11 countries.
My contribution
I developed the editorial approach, coordinated decentralised production, provided narrative and visual guidance to country teams and assembled the resulting material into a coherent international series.
Strategic value
The project translated policy evidence into human stories and created a reusable communication model for connecting global frameworks with local implementation.
