This project explored how community-driven approaches can support recovery, local governance and social cohesion in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.

The context
The work drew on programmes implemented across Ethiopia, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen with the Danish Refugee Council.

My contribution
I coordinated communication-for-development and participatory learning activities, documented operational approaches, and translated field experience into audiovisual and training materials for wider use.

Strategic value
The project connected storytelling with programme learning, showing how local structures, feedback systems and community networks can inform more accountable recovery strategies.
