Documenting Land Dispossession in Cambodia

This documentary series was produced with Oxfam Italia to document the experiences of communities affected by land dispossession in Cambodia.

The challenge
Land conflicts were often represented through statistics and legal language, while the lived consequences for families and communities remained less visible.

My contribution
Working with filmmaker Davide Grotta, I helped research, film and structure testimonies that connected individual experiences with the wider social, economic and rights-based dimensions of land dispossession.

Strategic value
The series used documentary evidence to support public awareness and advocacy while preserving the dignity and agency of the people involved.
