UNESCO Creative Cities: 200 Cities in 30 Seconds

This short motion-graphics video was produced for UNESCO to promote the Creative Cities Network around World Cities Day 2018.

The challenge
The network connected around 200 cities across multiple creative fields and regions. The task was to communicate its global scale and diversity in only 30 seconds.

My contribution
I developed the visual concept and animation sequence, compressing a large amount of geographic and institutional information into a fast, legible and shareable format.

Strategic value
The piece shows how complex networks can be communicated through disciplined visual hierarchy, pacing and data-informed motion design.
