Do Min Do: Digital Storytelling and Political Change in Cambodia
Do Min Do was an independent multimedia documentary exploring civic mobilisation and political change during Cambodia’s 2013 election period.
The challenge
Rapidly evolving political events were being documented through fragmented reports, social media content and personal testimony. The project sought to connect these materials into a coherent public record.
My contribution
In collaboration with Davide Grotta, I combined documentary production, web development and interactive storytelling to create a non-linear narrative that allowed audiences to explore events, voices and locations from multiple perspectives.
Strategic value
The project anticipated later forms of digital civic storytelling by integrating field reporting, user-generated content and interactive navigation within one editorial framework.
